“Classic American food” is on the menu at the Hard Rock Café, the original brainchild of House of Blues founder Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, who opened the first outlet in London on June 14, 1971. There are now more than 121 Hard Rock Cafes in over 40 countries. Amidst the memorabilia at the French Quarter location are Charles Neville’s Mardi Gras Indian costume, a piano lid signed by Fats Domino and an electric guitar autographed by all three members of Nirvana.
