Waiting for the premiere of the HBO series that’s supposed to get New Orleans right. Everyone I know in New Orleans who has seen it thinks it’s amazing. There was a screening last night at Generations Hall for the cast and crew and a select few. I caught writer Tom Piazza at the French Market when we finally got a chance to get out to enjoy French Quarter Fest. Tom’s one of the writers for the show, and he says even though he’s bit biased, seeing the first show on a big screen with everyone who participated in its creatin was a feeling like no other. I can’t wait to see it. Would love to hear what you think.
