Heavy-hitters of bass-heavy production are convening this Thursday, December 16 at Republic for the club’s ongoing dubstep series. BASSIK features MiM0SA, Nosaj Thing, Shanook and Rus in what is sure to be a show filled with heavy grooves that might shake the fillings right out of your skull.

MiM0SA’s popularity in the electronic scene is quickly rising, as he has recently played at festivals such as Coachella and Burning Man. Hip-Hop/electro producer Nosaj Thing’s reputation is similar; a quickly rising star on the scene, he has won remix contests, produced for Kid Cudi and last year released his first full album, Drift.

BASSIK promises not only the afore-mentioned producers/MCs, but also aggressive visual production to provide visuals for the soundscapes. The show is $12 presale and $15 at the door, but a VIP ticket option is available which includes 2 drink tickets, a color poster and exclusive entry to Republic’s balcony above the stage.
