GalaxyCon returns to New Orleans with William Shatner and more

GalaxyCon, the largest independently owned consumer and fan engagement company, will once again take over the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for its sophomore event after a rousing debut in 2025.

Thousands of fans from around Louisiana and the Gulf states descended on the convention center for last year’s debut, cementing New Orleans as one of GalaxyCon’s most popular conventions.

“We were blown away by the response we received for our inaugural show last year,” says Mike Broder, founder and president, GalaxyCon. “We had faith New Orleans would show up in a big way for our unique brand of fandom convention, and we were so happy to see the camaraderie, enthusiasm, and creativity endemic to the GalaxyCon brand.”

It is with that spirit and success that GalaxyCon returns to New Orleans this summer with an even bigger show.

Beloved stars and creators like William Shatner, Kevin Smith, Tyler Hoechlin, Sam Raimi, Danny Glover, Pam Grier, Lou Ferrigno, and many more will join guests from such popular franchises as Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, Twilight, The Walking Dead, Star Wars, Star Trek, Teen Wolf, WWE, AEW, Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and independent comics, famed cosplayers and commentators an more.

GalaxyCon returns to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (900 Convention Center Blvd.) July 10–12. Event hours are Friday, July 10, from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.; and Sunday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the Exhibit Hall will be open Friday from 2–8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.–8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
