Last weekend (June 1-2) two dozen of New Orleans finest seafood restaurants shucked and served oysters on the banks of the Mississippi River as 10 bands took the stage at the 2013 Oyster Festival. OffBeat photographer Kim Welsh partook in the festivities on Sunday and snapped these excellent shots of the Brass-A-Holics, the Revivalists, 90s alt-rockers the Gin Blossoms and, of course, the delicacy du jour… Enjoy!
