Footage of the Mardi Gras Indian Orchestra practicing on Tuesday in preparation for their two-night stay that started yesterday and continues tonight at the Hi Ho Lounge. The Orchestra, who first performed during Mardi Gras earlier this year, features a long list of many of New Orleans’ best musicians. Show starts tonight at 9.
The Orchestra features many of the city’s best musicians, including Kevin O’Day, Reggie Scanlan, Helen Gillet, Papa Mali, Camile Baudoin, Sam Hotchkiss, Tim Green, Kirk Joseph, and several Mardi Gras indian Big Chiefs, including Monk Boudreaux of the Golden Eagles.
