It’s Jazz Fest time, and that means music everywhere. This weekend, Ampersand is presenting a varied trio of concerts, and have invited OffBeat to give tickets to some of our readers.

Sound Tribe Sector 9

Friday night, they’re showcasing Sound Tribe Sector 9 + Emancipator at Mardi Gras World, with an after-party packed with talent in its own right that starts at midnight at the Joy Theater: reggae band Midnite, hip-hop duo Dead Prez, and the Hot 8 Brass Band.

Saturday night, there’s Dayglow, which bills itself as “the world’s largest paint party”. The party’s been touring the country since January, and features a heady mix of EDM, art, dance, and glowing neon paint, all taken in with 3D glasses.
