Creating Community & Environmental Impact with Friends of Bayou St. John
Bayou Boogaloo is committed to sustainability and environmental conservation. This year, they have partnered with Friends of Bayou St. John and Keep Louisiana Beautiful’s Greener Grounds Grant to make the festival even more eco-friendly.
During last year’s festival, the recycling efforts resulted in thousands of pounds of materials being recycled, and this year, they aim to do even better. There will be a $2.00 environmental fee included in each water ticket to support the preservation of Bayou St. John while enjoying the festivities.
