The annual NOLA Crawfish Festival returns with massive music lineup

Taking place in between the two Jazz Fest weekends, the 4th Annual NOLA Crawfish Festival is serving up three full daze of music, beer and plenty of perfectly seasoned and boiled crawfish.

“Sure to be the tastiest – and funkiest – throwdown this Spring, the NOLA Crawfish Festival is the only one of its kind in New Orleans,” say organizers. It’s more than a basic food and music festival, namely because it features a crawfish cookoff and a crawfish eating contest.

The crawfish is courtesy of NOLA Crawfish King, while the tunes come courtesy of the following stellar acts:

Anders Osborne and Friends
Samantha Fish and Jonathon Long
Neville Jacobs ft. Ivan Neville, Cris Jacobs, Tony Hall, and Brady Blade
NOLA Crawfish Allstars ft. George Porter, Jr, Dave Malone, Bill Iuso and Terrence Higgins
The Iceman Special
Papa Mali and Alvin “Youngblood” Hart
The Mike Dillon Band ft. Brady Blade, Brian Haas, Tiff Lamson and Nathan Lambertson
Soul Brass Band

As the dates of the festival come closer, more musical acts will be announced.

The 4th Annual NOLA Crawfish Festival takes place April 29 through May 1 at Central City BBQ. There are a variety of ticket packages available, beginning with $35 single-day general-admission tickets. Tickets are currently on sale here. For more information on the festival, click here.
