Dumpstaphunk Releases Election Day Single with Trombone Shorty, “Justice”

This year’s election has been controversial for a number of reasons, but if there’s one thing we can all get behind it’s new music from Dumpstaphunk. The fact that Trombone Shorty is involved is just lagniappe.

Ivan Neville’s New Orleans funk powerhouse teamed up with the trombone master for a new politically-charged single titled “Justice,” which dropped on Election Day. In typical Dumpstaphunk fashion, the nonpartisan tune answers to only one leader: the funk.

If the band’s Facebook page is any indication, a music video for “Justice” is in the works. Until then, you can give the track a listen below.
