New Orleans Film Festival Highlights, Monday October 18

The 2010 New Orleans Film Festival had a great opening weekend, and if you missed some of the films, many are being re-screened this week, including the classic Jean-Luc Godard movie Breathless; American: The Bill Hicks Story, about the famed stand-up comedian, and Life During Wartime, the new Todd Solondz (Welcome to the Dollhouse, Happiness) movie. On the local front, the sextet of Louisiana shorts that were shown yesterday at the CAC can be seen again tonight at the Theatres at Canal Place starting at 5:15 p.m.
