The blistering heat didn’t stop crowds from flocking to the Louisiana Seafood Festival at City Park last weekend, sampling delicious offerings from dozens of vendors, checking out beautiful handcrafted goods by local artists, and grooving til the sun went down to their favorite bands (even when you could see the skin going redder by the moment under the dance-sweat sheen.)
Here are some pictures we got of the N’Awlins Johnnies, Paul Sanchez and Minimum Rage, the Wise Guys, Mia Borders, the Vettes (with Amanda Shaw), George Porter, Jr. and the Runnin’ Pardners (borrowing three of Bonerama’s trombonists for the last few songs), and Bonerama.
These groups were just a small part of a killer lineup put together by Stephen Lundgren, founding member of the Bucktown All-Stars.
