Hundreds of mourners took to the streets of New Orleans on May 23, 2015, for the funeral of Travis “Trumpet Black” Hill.
The late trumpeter, who passed away at the age of 28 while on tour in Japan just after Jazz Fest, was laid to rest in true New Orleans style.
The Baby Dolls, brass bands, Kermit Ruffins, and Trumpet Black’s cousins Glen David Andrews and Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews were all on hand.
