Trombone Shorty to bring Roosevelt Hotel’s Waldorf Wonderland to life

This year’s lighting of the Roosevelt Hotel’s signature holiday lobby display will be performed by Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews.

On Tuesday, December 3, the public is invited to witness the lobby lighting, which takes place at 5:15 p.m.

At a block in length, the lobby display has expanded in 2019 to include 20,000 more lights and twice the bows and garlands. There will be Christmas trees, branches decorated in a winter theme and tons of glass ornaments. Trombone Shorty and kids who attend the Trombone Shorty Academy will be present for the lobby lighting, where the representatives from the Trombone Shorty Academy will also perform.

The Roosevelt Hotel’s Waldorf Wonderland lobby display launched in the 1930s and is free and open to the public from December 3 through New Year’s Day. For more information, click here.
