Last spring, Hogs for the Cause emerged as an event with a serious talent lineup and a pork cook-off. When it returns to City Park (dubbed City Pork for the day) on March 24, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue will headline a music lineup that includes the Voice of the Wetlands All-Stars, Marcia Ball, the Gourds, the Stooges Brass Band and the Mississippi Rail Company. The event is a fundraiser for those dealing with pediatric brain cancer.
