The husband and wife team of Yoshio and Keiko Toyama have been providing much-needed instruments to the school children of New Orleans for over 10 years. The Toyamas, both in their early 60s, chair Japan’s Wonderful World Jazz Foundation (WWJF), an organization whose dedication to New Orleans jazz was further galvanized by Hurricane Katrina.
