We learned that drummer and New Orleans resident Barry Martyn has passed way.

Several months ago, Martyn fell down his stairs and lay there for nine hours overnight until the cleaning lady arrived in the morning. Martyn was taken to a hospital and then went to rehabilitation. He returned home but was placed in hospice care where he passed on.
