Baton Rouge Blues: A Chemical City Shakedown

For Steven Coleridge, what originally began as a trip to do research on the late bluesman Slim Harpo has evolved into the founding of the most comprehensive recording project of South Louisiana blues in over twenty years.

After coming to Baton Rouge three years ago in the continuation of an ongoing thesis on the life and times of Harpo and the Jay Miller studio in Crowley, Coleridge has recently issued the blues compilation Chemical City Shakedown on his own Sidetrack Records.
