Caitlyn Ridenour Snaps Southern Decadence in the French Quarter

February 1, 2014 by: Caitlyn Ridenour Leave a comment

Every Labor Day weekend, thousands of people gather in the French Quarter to celebrate LGBTQ culture at the annual Southern Decadence Festival. With a backdrop of rainbow-colored flags, loud dance music and extravagant costumes, this weekend always makes for fun photographs. This one in particular was taken at the heart of the festival, at the corner of St. Ann and Bourbon streets. The reason I love it so much is because I think this young man embodies what Decadence is all about—expressing yourself and having fun.
