Geno Delafose

At 25 years of age, Geno Delafose is one of the few second-generation zydeco musicians to find himself following successfully in his father's footsteps. Yet not only has he followed in the footsteps of his father, the late John Delafose, but he has also begun to make tracks of his own. In addition to taking zydeco to places where it has never gone before- he has opened shows for Robert Cray and toured in Europe-he has begun to broaden the meaning of the word "zydeco" itself.
