Irma Thomas documentary anchors a month of music programming at WYES

Filmmakers Michael Murphy and Cilista Eberle faced a tight deadline for Irma: My Life in Music. Premiering October 4 at 8 p.m. on New Orleans’ public television station WYES, the documentary depicts Irma Thomas, the soul queen of New Orleans, in words and music.
