"It was the Bo Dollis Mardi Gras,” declared Mardi Gras Indian historian and radio host Jack Snyder. Snyder was reflecting on Dollis after two weeks of Mardi Gras punctuated by a series of memorial services for Big Chief Theodore Emile “Bo” Dollis, the man who brought the Mardi Gras Indians from the backstreets of New Orleans to the four corners of the world.
