“I’ve been listening to and even playing music since fifth grade. I performed in the Ben Franklin high school band, and had the opportunity to perform in that band and become friends with Wynton and then Delfeayo Marsalis. We listened to records together and Delfeayo often copied cassettes for me to take home. At that time, their youngest brother Jason, and one of our 15 artists on the label, was only three years old!
