Wth an excellent CD, Moonburn, recently released, Jon Cleary and his group, the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, are currently one of New Orleans busiest funk and rhythm and blues groups. Not surprisingly, the transplanted British guitarist and pianist also doubles as a historian and authority in the music of his adopted hometown.
