Pianist and singer-songwriter Biff Rose passed away at the age of 85 at his home in Madison, Wisconsin on Tuesday July 25, 2023.

Rose grew up in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans. Although his piano style is all his own, you can hear traces of Gottschalk, Jelly Roll Morton and James Booker.
