Preserving Jazz Fest Culture

Some New Orleanians are frustrated. The city is undeniably changing, and it is often changed by outside forces eliminating what makes our culture so special. The past few years have seen charges of gentrification, go-cup controversies, and landmark live music venues neutered by noise ordinances and zoning permits. Many locals are uneasy with the changes, feeling as if the culture they helped build is no longer for them.
