Roger Lewis is a New Orleans living musical legend.

At this point in the 21st century, I cannot deny (or forget) it. I am privileged, I live in the West rather than some underdeveloped third world country. My parents worked hard, saved, allowing for access to education and health facilities. Life has been good.

But that word "privileged" takes on new meaning as I find myself once again in a long conversation with a living legend in New Orleans,
