Saturday, July 19, the Press Club of New Orleans honored excellence in journalism in the Crescent City. In a ceremony at the Harrah’s Hotel, consulting editor John Swenson’s “Every Accordionist a King” was named Best Entertainment Feature, with Geoffrey Himes’ “The Long Road Home” taking second and Alex Rawls’ “Preservation, Inc.” receiving an Honorable Mention.
