After back-to-back sold-out sailings in 2025 and 2026, The Big Easy Cruise will return for its fourth voyage January 16–23, 2027, once again transforming a Holland America ship into what organizers call a “floating music festival” dedicated to the sounds, food and culture of New Orleans.
Produced by StarVista LIVE, the weeklong cruise will depart from Fort Lauderdale aboard the MS Eurodam, with stops in Half Moon Cay (Bahamas), San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Philipsburg (St. Maarten).
The first wave of artists announced includes:
Keb’ Mo’
Samantha Fish
Robert Randolph
Kenny Neal
Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel
Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen
Blind Boys of Alabama
Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers
The Rumble
Mia Borders
John Boutté
Andrew Duhon
Pine Leaf Boys
The Tin Men
Joe Krown
New Orleans Suspects
River Eckert
Al Lil Fats Jackson
Kevin Belton
Additional artists are expected to be announced.
Organizers promise more than 75 live performances spanning R&B, blues, zydeco, rock, jazz, swamp pop and brass band traditions, along with artist interviews, themed parties, burlesque shows, wine tastings and cooking demonstrations.
“The cruise combines great music, passionate fans and a party dedicated to the music, food and culture inspired by America’s most unique city and region,” said StarVista LIVE President Mike Jason in a statement. He noted that while many guests come for headliners, they often leave having discovered lesser-known artists rooted in Louisiana traditions.
In addition to the performances, the Big Easy Cruise has served as a fundraising platform for several music-based nonprofits, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, as well as the Americana Music Association and the Trombone Shorty Foundation.
Past voyages have featured artists such as Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Little Feat, Larkin Poe, Anders Osborne and Cyril Neville, among others.
