A lineup of powerhouse women performers, featuring headliner Christine Ohlman, will take the stage at The Howlin’ Wolf on Thursday, April 9, for Live from New Orleans, It’s Thursday Night!, a special fundraiser benefiting the New Orleans Women & Children’s Shelter.

Headlined by Christine Ohlman of the Saturday Night Live Band, the event will bring together an all-star cast of regional and national artists for a night of music and community support. The lineup also includes Charmaine Neville, Susan Cowsill, Diedra & the Ruff Pro Band, Gabrielle Cavassa, and Royal & Toulouse, with special guests Father Ron & Friends. The evening will be hosted by Jackie Gumbo of Johnnyrockandrollradio.org.

The event highlights the contributions of women in music while raising funds and collecting essential items for the shelter, which provides housing and support services for families experiencing homelessness in the New Orleans area.

Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are available through The Howlin’ Wolf website, and discounted admission will be offered at the door for attendees who bring a donation for the shelter.

Organizers are especially seeking twin XL comforter sets, sheets, zippered mattress covers, towels and pillows to support residents at the facility.
