French Quarter Festivals, Inc. (FQFI) has unveiled the 2025 Holidays New Orleans Style lineup, bringing free, family-friendly celebrations to the city throughout December. Presented in partnership with NewOrleans.com, the annual series features live concerts at St. Louis Cathedral and a reimagined New Year’s Eve celebration at Woldenberg Park.
“This lineup reflects the heart and soul of our city,” said Emily Madero, president and CEO of FQFI. “From the historic beauty of St. Louis Cathedral to the vibrant energy of New Year’s Eve on the riverfront, these events celebrate the traditions that make New Orleans special.”
The holiday concert series at St. Louis Cathedral kicks off Wednesday, Dec. 3, with Leroy Jones & New Orleans’ Finest, followed by the Annual St. Louis Cathedral Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 21.
New Orleans Eve returns with a new riverfront location at Woldenberg Park on Wednesday, Dec. 31, featuring performances by Dumpstaphunk, Sweet Crude, and DJ Captain Charles. The celebration culminates with the fleur de lis drop and Crescent City Countdown fireworks over the Mississippi River.
The move to the riverfront aims to enhance attendee experience and safety through increased space and improved crowd management.
“Partnering with French Quarter Festivals, Inc. to promote New Orleans as a holiday destination perfectly aligns with our mission,” said Alice Glenn, executive vice president of New Orleans & Company. “These events showcase the city’s cultural richness and share the magic of the season with residents and visitors alike.”
