The Levitt Foundation is now accepting proposals from U.S.-based nonprofits for its 2026–2028 Levitt Music Series grant cycle. The multi-year matching grants—up to $40,000 per year, totaling up to $120,000—support free, live outdoor music series that foster community connection and transform underused public spaces.
Nonprofits interested in using live music as a tool for creative placemaking, cultural celebration and economic revitalization are encouraged to apply. Selected grantees will receive not only funding, but also a suite of resources through the Levitt Model, including planning tools, strategic guidance and access to a national network of peer communities.
The Levitt Music Series grants aim to spark joy, amplify local pride and increase access to the arts, especially in communities where live music experiences are limited. Grantees will present high-quality concerts featuring a diverse mix of emerging and award-winning talent on local, regional and national stages.
Additional opportunities are available for organizations based in Tennessee and Mississippi through the Amp, Vibe and Bloc grant tracks, which offer state-specific support for free outdoor music programming.
A webinar outlining the application process and eligibility criteria will be held in the coming weeks.
