This November, Lil’ WeezyAna Fest returns to New Orleans for its 10th anniversary.
On June 6, 2025, Lil Wayne released Tha Carter VI, his fourteenth solo studio album. The bonus edition includes features from Nicki Minaj, Future, and Lil Baby, while the physical release contains a feature from Trippie Redd. The album has received positive reviews and has been a commercial success.
To support the album, Lil Wayne embarked on the Tha Carter VI Tour, which began on June 6 in New York City at Madison Square Garden. The tour covers over 30 shows across the U.S. and Canada, with supporting acts including Tyga, NoCap, Belly Gang Kushington and others.
Among the new talents introduced under Lil Wayne’s Young Money label is Lucifena, a metal artist who made history as the first-ever female rock signee to the label. In a recent interview, Lucifena expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “To be the first female rock artist on Young Money is such a blessing. I wanna represent for the genre of music I come from and show out and push pop culture in a new direction! I appreciate Lil Wayne for believing in me and letting me be a part of Young Money is a fucking honor.”
