The New Orleans Children’s Chorus offers music education for singers ages 5–16 and maintains an active Alumni Chorus. NOCC is known throughout the United States for their artistic excellence. Through the singing of high quality music the singers develop self-confidence, discipline and social skills as well as musical knowledge. The singers come from public, private, parochial and home schools in the metropolitan New Orleans area and meet once a week for rehearsal. No child who truly wants to sing is ever turned away.
