Nickel-A-Dance is back for Fall 2025, bringing free, family-friendly concerts to Sunday afternoons. Since 1994, the series has celebrated the city’s jazz heritage with performances from some of its most beloved musicians. This year’s venue is Snug Harbor, and the event will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This season’s lineup features:
Oct. 12 – Thais Clark & Her Jazzsters
Oct. 19 – Kermit Ruffins & the Barbeque Swingers
Oct. 26 – Wendell Brunious & the New Orleans Legends
Nov. 2 – Gregg Stafford & the Jazz Hounds
Concerts take place from 3–6 p.m. and are open to the public at no cost. Families are encouraged to come out and enjoy the music, atmosphere and community spirit that have defined the soirée for almost 30 years. Snug Harbor opens for its regular programming at 7 p.m.
