NOLAxNOLA 2025 Brings 10 Days of Music Starting Sept. 25

NOLAxNOLA returns Sept. 25 through Oct. 5, celebrating five years of showcasing the Crescent City’s most iconic venues and artists. The 10-day festival will feature performances in legendary spaces such as Preservation Hall, the Blue Nile, Maple Leaf Bar, the Jazz Playhouse and dozens more across neighborhoods including the French Quarter, Uptown, Faubourg Marigny and Mid-City.

The diverse lineup blends local talent with national acts, offering everything from jazz and brass bands to rock, hip-hop, Americana and beyond. The event kicks off on Sept. 25 with a roast of Jelly Joseph hosted by Brett Siddell at Tipitina’s. 

Highlights include Big Freedia performing with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra at the Orpheum Theater, the opening night of the Black Americana Fest featuring Dom Flemons, Leyla McCalla and AJ Haynes at the Broadside, and a special Cha Wa record release with guests Irma Thomas, Amanda Shaw, Jason Ricci, and Bo Dollis Jr. at Toulouse Theatre.

Additional performances span the city, including Dash Rip Rock at Saturn Bar, Eric Johnson at House of Blues, a Cajun showcase at B.J.’s Lounge, and the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the New Orleans Jazz Museum.

With more than 300 shows scheduled, NOLAxNOLA 2025 invites music fans to experience New Orleans’ legendary live music scene alongside its world-renowned food and culture.
