The torrential downpour that washed away much of the music in the middle of day two of Jazz Fest 2015 pushed record crowds into the stages that were lucky enough to be covered by tents.
It was sitting room only as Jason Marsalis joined his father Ellis Marsalis in the Jazz Tent as the rain came down outside.
Just before the rain started, Tony Hall ripped through an incendiary James Brown tribute on the Congo Square stage as the Raw Oyster Cult got the campers in front of the Acura stage up and boogying.
