Rosie Flores Joins Robert Plant at the Saenger Theatre Next Month

Guitarist, singer and songwriter Rosie Flores will return to the road this spring, stopping in New Orleans in March, as special guest on Robert Plant’s 2026 “Saving Grace” tour, marking her second run with the legendary Led Zeppelin vocalist. After opening 16 dates in November 2025 to widespread critical acclaim, Flores has been invited back for an additional 16-date Spring tour alongside Plant, singer Suzi Dian, and their acclaimed band. Flores will be joined by drummer Chris Sensat from Austin, TX  and bassist Tommy Vee from St. Cloud, MC

“Opening for Robert Plant last fall with my Rockabilly trio was one of the greatest honors of my life,” says Flores. “We’re thrilled to have been invited back for the Spring tour. And I’m excited to once again get to see Robert with singer Suzi Dian and their killer band performing songs from their latest release, Saving Grace.”

Flores opened Plant’s 2025 dates delivering spirited, high-energy sets that blended rockabilly, country, and blues, anchored by her signature Fender Telecaster. Night after night, she won over new audiences with performances critics described as masterful, magnetic, and deeply authentic.

Boston.com hailed her as a “Rockabilly queen” whose set traded “fire for easygoing, unfussed mastery.”The Vancouver Sun praised her “biting-but-jangly Fender Telecaster sound” and noted she “got right down to business warming up the crowd.”The San Diego Union Tribune called her an “engaging” presence whose spirited performances left crowds energized, while The Vinyl District wrote that Flores and her band “tore through 30 minutes of originals and classic covers… That set the gathering crowd a-rockin’.”

A daughter of San Antonio, Rosie Flores has long carved her own path through male-dominated rock and country scenes as a respected lead guitarist and songwriter. A multi-award-winning artist, she has absorbed and helped preserve the legacies of Texas greats including Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys, T-Bone Walker and Doug Sahm.

In the 1970s, Flores rose to prominence on the “cowpunk” circuit alongside Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, and Los Lobos. Her 1987 solo debut established her as a first-rank singer and songwriter and helped lay the foundation for what would become the alt-country movement.

Flores was spotlighted in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s exhibition Western Edge: The Roots & Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock. She is a 2024 NEA National Heritage Fellow, and with her recent release Impossible Frontiers, she continues her lifelong journey of pushing musical boundaries while celebrating the rich traditions that shaped her artistry.

The Spring 2026 tour reaffirms Flores’ enduring impact and cross-generational appeal, from Texas dance halls to the world’s most revered stages. Flores’ timeless style and seasoned stage presence made her a seamless complement to Plant’s folk-rock explorations.

Flores and Plant will perform March 22 at the Saenger Theatre. Other tour dates and ticket information available at: https://rosieflores.com/tour/.
