Hola Northshore and the Mandeville Trailhead, with support from the City of Mandeville, are proud to announce the second annual Lago Fest. This vibrant, free community festival is happening on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and is a Persiana Latina Production. The festival is expected to draw hundreds of attendees for a full day of authentic Hispanic food, live Latin music, and high-energy cultural performances.
Headlining this year’s festival is Aldo Tributo, a passionate musician who pays tribute to the rich sounds of Cumbia and Vallenato from Colombia. Known for his captivating performances that honor the legendary figures of these beloved genres, Aldo Tributo promises to bring an authentic and high-energy finale to the night, making everyone feel the rhythm of Latin America.
The festival will also feature the following:
● José Fermin Ceballos: Merengue music from the Dominican Republic ● Madison Guzman: Tex-Mex music from Mexico
● Saúl Flamenco: Soloist and guitarist from El Salvador
● Rico Paris and Renésanz Training Group: Dance instructor from Puerto Rico who will teach basics of latin Dance.
● Catalina Reyna and Xochiquetzalli Cultural Project : Mexican folkloric dancer from Mexico
● Zumba by Vision Fitness: High-energy dance fitness classes
Attendees can also enjoy a variety of food vendors offering a true taste of Hispanic cuisine. The festival is family-friendly and will have plenty of activities for children. The Lago Fest has received strong support from the community. St. Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper has recognized Hispanic Heritage Month with a Proclamation for the second year. Additionally, many Hispanic business owners from the City of Slidell are participating, highlighting the growing strength of the local Latino business community.
