Families are invited to a magical evening of fun, imagination, and community at the BSL Bedtime Bash, hosted at The Driftwood Motel on Saturday, June 14th from 5-8 p.m.. This special event brings to life the heartwarming children’s book, Goodnight Bay St. Louis, with a pool party, DJ Doug spinning family-friendly hits, a dazzling Glitter Bar by Fleurty Girl, and plenty of pizza to go around.
Tickets are just $20 per family and include event entry and a signed copy of the book. Families can also opt for the full experience with a $150 Family Party Pass + Room package for an overnight stay at The Driftwood Motel.
Authors Leanne Murray and Kellie Noel, the creative minds behind Goodnight Bay St. Louis, are excited to bring this hometown story to life.
“The BSL Bedtime Bash is more than just a pool party; it’s a celebration of community, imagination, and the magic of childhood,” said Leanne Murray. “Partnering with The Driftwood Motel felt like a natural fit. It’s a charming, family-friendly local business with a heart for community, just like the story we tell in Goodnight Bay St. Louis.”
Families are encouraged to pre-register by emailing [email protected] or scanning the QR code attached to the flyer, where they’ll receive a link to purchase tickets. Guests are asked to enter their child’s name for personalized book signings, a meaningful keepsake for years to come.
Only one $20 ticket is needed per family, which includes access to all activities and one signed copy of the book. Additional books will be available for purchase on-site.
Eugene Schmitt of The Driftwood Motel shared his excitement about hosting the event, “We’re honored to open our doors to something so meaningful for the community. Events like this are what make Bay St. Louis feel like home, bringing families together to laugh, play, and make memories. That’s what The Driftwood Motel is all about.”
Families can book their overnight stay and secure their Family Party Pass at driftwoodmotelbsl.com using the promo code “GOODNIGHTBSL” for the night of June 14th.
