The Young Leadership Council (YLC) has announced the 2026 lineup for Wednesdays at the Square, its free weekly outdoor concert series held at Lafayette Square. The series will run Wednesdays from March 11 through May 6, featuring live music from 5-8 p.m., with proceeds benefiting YLC community service projects.

The Wednesdays at the Square 2026 lineup includes:

• March 11: Big Sam’s Funky Nation; Zahriya Sims Collective

• March 18: Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen; Electric Ramble

• March 25: Bonerama; Bon Bon Vivant

• April 1: Jelly Joseph ft. Nigel Hall; Ashton Hines and the Big Easy Brawlers

• April 8: Flow Tribe ft. Alfred Banks; Zita

• April 15: Corey Henry and the Treme Funktet; River Eckert Band

• April 22: Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers; Kings of Brass

• April 29: Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers; La Tran-K Band

• May 6: Brass-A-Holics; Justin Garner

The season lineup was announced at a press conference held at the Abita Brewing Facility at 2375 Tchoupitoulas Street in New Orleans, where YLC shared details of the upcoming season with media, partners, and community members.

The 2026 season coincides with YLC’s 40th anniversary. Founded in 1986, the organization focuses on developing young leaders through community service and civic involvement. Wednesdays at the Square has been a YLC program for more than two decades, combining live music with fundraising efforts that support its mission while offering free public access to performances.
