On October 18, Selwyn Birchwood and Joe Louis Walker will be performing at the 2014 Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival at Lafayette Square.

For Blues Hall of Famer Joe Louis Walker, this performance will be a part of his current tour supporting his latest album release, Hornet’s Nest.
Walker’s Alligator Records labelmate, Selwyn Birchwood, will also be celebrating the release of his debut album Don’t Call No Ambulance.
With this pair of Alligator Records’ artists joining the already dynamic entourage of artists on the lineup, the 2014 Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival will definitely be an event to remember.
Not only will the above mentioned artists be performing, but a number of blues icons will be taking the stage as well, including Little Freddie King, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Mel Waiters, and many more.
The festival begins Friday, October 17, at 5:30 p.m. and is free to all.
