Michael Arnone’s Crawfish Fest will return to the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ for yet another weekend of Louisiana music and food.

This year’s festival will feature performances by the Funky Meters, Cowboy Mouth, Marcia Ball, From Good Homes, Jon Cleary and The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Bonerama, Amanda Shaw, Naughty Professor, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Papa Mali, Flow Tribe and more. There will also be Master Workshops from George Porter Jr., Marcia Ball, Jon Cleary and Rockin’ Dopsie Jr.
Originally started as a small crawfish boil for a bunch of homesick Louisianans, Michael Arnone’s Crawfish Fest will celebrate its 27th year this summer. In addition to showcasing Louisiana music across four different stages, the event also boasts 10,000 pounds of live crawfish that are trucked up from Bayou Pigeon, LA and boiled alive.
Last year’s Crawfish Fest saw performances by Anders Osborne, the New Orleans Suspects, George Porter Jr. and his Runnin’ Pardners, John “Papa” Gros Band, Kermit Ruffins, Marc Broussard and more. You can check out Bob Adamek’s photo gallery from last year here.
