Vocalist Debbie Davis and sousaphonist husband Matt Perrine have announced they cancelled their “Oh Crap, It’s Christmas” holiday music pageant.

The event was expected to take place at Café Istanbul on December 13th, and was the subject of a John Swenson article in OffBeat’s December 2015 issue. Davis contacted OffBeat to confirm the cancellation of the event, “due to circumstances beyond our control.”

“We also hope readers will come to St. Louis Cathedral on December 15,” added Davis. The event will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. and feature sacred and classic holiday music, performed by guests Alex McMurray, Josh Paxton, Sam and Jack Craft, Susan Cowsill as well as Davis and Perrine themselves.
