What brings you here today?

This is excellent food. The plates are big, the corn bread is amazing and one dish is probably enough for at least two meals. The service is very friendly and obviously this place is popular because there are a lot of people coming in here.

What are you eating?

Okra and shrimp with sausage and rice. I usually don’t eat okra with sausage, but you find sausage in a lot of things in New Orleans. Also, I’m having pork neck bones. Very good. And my meal came with a regular salad and a mashed potato salad to start the meal. I’m glad I’m going to have some left over so I can have some more tomorrow! I eat okra out, and we make it at home. A friend of mine makes it for me and we cook together. Then it’s different, and spicier than this. This is not real spicy. If you worry about coming here and the food being to spicy, you don’t have to worry. This is very easy to eat.
