ajun music lost its iron horse rock star, 96-year-old Milton Vanicor, who died peacefully at home in Welsh, Louisiana, on Friday June 5, 2015, of congestive heart failure. He leaves behind daughters Jeanette Aguillard and Linda Marcantel, sons Joe and Glen Vanicor, a brother Ellis, a sister Cecile Leger, and a collection of 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
