The Maple Leaf Bar’s termite infestation brings forth a brilliant idea

When the pandemic hit and all the clubs had to shut down, the Maple Leaf Bar, the venerable institution on Oak Street in uptown New Orleans, was confronted with a major termite infestation on the back patio. The patio’s bricks had also been in various states of disarray for years leaving open gaps and cracked and missing bricks creating a hazard for music fans and smokers congregating outside during shows.
