2022 Jazz Fest schedule—locations and times released

The Jazz Fest 2022 schedule was released this week, with times and stages for all the performers. Click or tap on each image for a larger view of the schedules. We’ve also included a map of the Fair Grounds so that you can begin plotting your music odyssey well in advance of the gates opening on Friday, April 29. The 2022 Jazz Fest cubes are filled with headliners like Lionel Richie, Willie Nelson, The Who, Stevie Nicks, Nelly, Luke Combs, the Black Crowes, Arturo Sandoval and Lauren Daigle. There’s also and a stellar lineup of local bands, including Astral Project, Quiana Lynell, Billy Iuso, Trombone Shorty, and hundreds more.

The Foo Fighters appearance on May 1 has been canceled due to the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. In a statement posted to social media, the Foo Fighters announced, “It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters announce the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.”

On April 8 Jazz Fest organizers announced that the Red Hot Chili Peppers will replace the Foo Fighters as the closing act at the Festival Stage on Sunday, May 1.
