Water Seed will perform at the inaugural NOLA Soul & Art Festival

Inaugural NOLA Soul & Art Festival takes place May 18

NOLA Soul & Art Festival brings all things music, art and food to New Orleans for its inaugural fest! The festival will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Louis Armstrong Park.

By showcasing the best in New Orleans soul, funk, blues, brass and jazz with other world-class musicians from around the country participating, NOLA Soul & Art Festival has already made a name for itself within the crowded New Orleans Festival scene. With a stacked lineup performing on three stages, the festival will feature a diverse group of talent.

The inaugural lineup features local and national talent including: Jack Freeman (national headliner), Tomar & the FC’s (national headliner), Flow Tribe, Water Seed, Nayo Jones, Robin Barnes, CASME, KOB Brass Band & the Black Flame Hunters, Smoke N’ Bones and The Caesar Brothers’ Funk Box ft Big Chief Juan Pardo. Two stages will be live bands and the third stage will be a silent disco DJ stage with wireless headphones featuring the top DJs in New Orleans: DJ Raj Smoove, DJ Captain Charles, DJ Brice Nice, DJ Kelly Green, DJ T-Roy, DJ Legatron Prime, DJ Doug Funnie, and DJ Yamin.

Artwork will be another highlight from the festival, including both New Orleans’ own flavor of art as well as some work from the best around the country. With a display of over 60 art vendors throughout the festival, guests will have the chance to experience and educate themselves on every kind of work.

Top restaurants throughout the city of New Orleans will be serving up their traditional standout dishes and drinks, all proving New Orleans’ food expertise to be one of the best around the country.
