Live Music, Visual Art & DJs to fuse at AbstractNola’s AudioVisual

AbstractNola will kickstart a New Orleans summer through the upcoming event, AudioVisual. The local creative development organization has hosted a monthly concert and market series in New Orleans in order to promote local artists and assist them in developing their careers. Now, the team of Kulture and Leilani is producing a unique event at Tipitina’s on June 8.

AudioVisual is a gathering that will promote not only music that’s stimulating to the ears, but also visual media to stimulate the eyes. The lineup includes DJs Kelly Green, G-Cue, Chris Major and DJ Shack. Live performances from Denisia, Nesby Phips, Twerk Nola and Xeno Moonflower will also be featured.

Paired with live music at AudioVisual will be work from Ceaux Young and Art By Jay, two New Orleans artists whose work can be seen both in the streets of New Orleans and also festivals like BUKU and Jazz Fest.

A special appearance from Mardi Gras Indian Queen Tahj of the Golden Eagles will top off the special night.

Tickets for AudioVisual are $12 and admission is restricted to ages 18 and up. AbstractNola hopes to see you there: supporting local artists, as they promote them.
